Serena Ryder WINS the Juno Awards for Best New Artist, begins new album, schedules LA dates at Hotel Cafe!
Congratulations to Serena Ryder for taking home the Juno (Canada’s version of the Grammy) for Best New Artist over the weekend in Calgary, AB! She also performed a duet with fellow Canadians Tegan and Sara at the ceremony.
Serena begins recording her Atlantic Records debut album today in Los Angeles with Grammy Award winning producer John Alagia (John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Dave Matthews). The album is scheduled to be out late 2008 / early 2009. Stay tuned for in studio updates from Serena.
Los Angeles area fans - while Serena is recording, she also has a secured a run of dates at the historic Hotel Café in LA. Come out to see her at the following dates! Set time is 8:00pm every night, and if you’re lucky, you’ll hear a new song or two!
